Newcastle Junior Cricket welcomes the NSW Government initiative to offer a second $100 Active Kids Voucher to school age children.
This follows the Government’s announcement that one million vouchers have been redeemed through the current scheme.
Vouchers have been issued in January to use for children’s sport and recreation, with the second $100 voucher now available.
This voucher has chimed in perfectly for the upcoming Junior cricket season, with registrations set to open on July 8.
NSW Cricket CEO Lee Germon stated:
“Thousands of families have another great opportunity to use their vouchers so more boys and girls can play cricket.”
“The additional $100 voucher will allow families to register their children with a cricket program that suits them.”
There are currently more than 400,000 participants of all ages playing cricket right across NSW and this will continue to grow with this latest Government initiative.
