‘The Gardens’ greyhound action

Winning his maiden in fine style in the first race on Saturday was “My Mate Clarrie” This greyhound blitzed his opposition by 8 lengths running 22.89 sec (best time on night) over the 400 metre journey. Pictured here is Trainer Troy Donaldson & Son Jett, Owner John Clout (right) and Good Mate ex Manly League player Mick Greenaway. This pup is named after John’s late Father Clarrie from Richmond, an avid greyhound supporter who sadly passed away last November. John told me nobody was more thrilled than his 83 year old Mum, who listened to the race at home.
