Noelene Holloway with maiden winner 'Esther’s Star' after winning Race 1 at Ladbrokes The Gardens on Friday night

It was a Friday night out for the girls at Ladbrokes The Gardens when local trainer, Noelene Holloway, won two races with Esather’s Star and Rachel’s Dream.

Esther’s Star got the night off on the right foot by breaking her maiden status when she led all the way in Race 1 at the good odds of $5.70.

Rachel’s Dream topped the night off for Noelene in Race 8 when she easily accounted for her rivals by over five lengths after being backed into $1.30 favourite. The next best backed runner was $10.40, a rare sight to see in any form of racing.

Karuah trainer, Allan Ivers, continued his rich vein of form when he led in five winners and two seconds over two nights at Ladbrokes The Gardens – two winners and a second on Friday night and a hat-trick and two seconds on Saturday evening. Ivers’ dogs are almost unstoppable at the moment.
