Man dies after being pulled from water at Colo

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the death of a man in the Colo River today.

About 11.50am (Sunday, December 2), emergency services were called to the Colo River, near Putty Road, after reports a man was pulled unconscious from the water.

Witnesses commenced CPR on the 32-year-old man until the arrival of NSW Ambulance paramedics, but he died at the scene.

Officers from Hawkesbury Police Area Command attended and will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Witnesses said they saw the man jump from a bridge into the water.
