My name is Nova and I’m a 4-month-old Mastiff x Great Dane cuddly pair of legs! I’m a bit of a smoocher, cuddles are my fave! I hope you have a big lounge!
I’m really good at shaking hands and giving a hi-5. I can sit for treats but when I see my food bowl! Boy oh boy, let me show you my gymnastics routine! Mum hasn’t managed to get me to sit and wait for my dinner yet, as she’s too busy laughing at me.
In my new home I will need someone there for me all the time, or if that’s not possible, at least most of the time with a furry friend. If you can’t provide that then it is a big deal breaker for me and my mum will agree, I can’t cope on my own. I’ve spent the majority of my very short life in a pound and now that my foster family have shown me what unconditional love is I won’t settle for anything less, but I promise I will love you right back, and just as much!
It’s very important that my new family takes me to puppy school. I’ll grow into my legs and I’ll be a very tall girl – move over Miranda Kerr – so training is a must! Please understand that I’m still only a baby and I will go through that ‘puppy stage’ as they call it, but I’ll grow out of it nicely with training, patience and persistence (and lots of love).
Even though I’m a little lanky now, my new yard still needs to have no gaps or holes where I could possibly escape from, and fences high enough so I can’t jump or climb over once I’m a big girl. I can’t go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
I can’t wait to find my fur-ever home!
As I am not yet desexed, I am only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because I’ll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when I’m approximately 5 months old.
If you think I would fit perfectly into your family and would like to meet me, please contact my foster mum Brittany via email with an adoption questionnaire to Brittany_wilson@live.com I am in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW.
Nova’s adoption fee is $550 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and microchipping. She has been treated for fleas and worms.
