Earthworks will get underway this month for a boutique 28 townhouse development in Elermore Vale.

The nine, two-bedroom, and 19, three bedroom, townhouses will be located in a cul-de-sac community off 158a Croudace Road, Elermore Vale.

The development was first mooted by a Sydney developer but local builder and developer Hunter Coast Homes has taken over the project.

The townhouses are being exclusively sold through PRDnationwide Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.

Agent, Paul Ashcroft, said the townhouses are larger than average for the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie area, allowing buyers room to live for the long term. Mr Ashcroft said many of the three bedroom townhouses have an internal floor area of more than 135sqm and expansive terrace areas. He said townhouse living was becoming an increasingly popular option for Novocastrians.

“These townhouses will be attractive to a wide range of people including young couples, families, downsizers, retirees or the astute investor,” Mr Ashcroft said.

“The location is ideal and being in a quiet off-road cul-de-sac makes for greater privacy and security,” he said.

Mr Ashcroft said interest in the development is high with nine townhouses already sold/under contract.

He said local architect ELK Designs has brought a practical but contemporary style to the design. The development will boast high-class finishes with the kitchen featuring stone bench tops, crisp white and seasoned oak finish cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and black metal tapware.

He said Elermore Vale is an unsung suburb that is coming of age. According to homesales.com.au house prices in Elermore Vale have grown by 21.68% in the past three years and 5.50% last year. Unit prices in Elermore Vale have grown by 18.57% in the past three years.

“People are realising how central Elermore Vale is to established services and amenities including recreational areas, childcare facilities, schools, and public transport,” Mr Ashcroft said.

“There is a shopping centre across the road and Glendale Shopping Centre is a short drive away,” he said.

Prices start from between $470,000 to $555,000 and are expected to be complete by the end of 2019.
