Three gripping results and a forfeit by Sass to Heat was the wash-up in the Charlestown A Grade Netball competition last Saturday.

Watters again showed their class and experience in a gritty 46 to 39 win over the reigning champions, Job Done, in a contest that ebbed and flowed from the first minute to the last.

Judging by their current form, Watters could well turn out to be the team to challenge Round 6 leaders, Heat, for the 2018 title.

With either side yet to break their duck this season, Fever and Fury played out an epic, high scoring contest, with the Fever girls finally prevailing 59-55, but it could so easily have gone the other way.

The other A Grade match was a low scoring contest, won 36 to 29 by Crossfire, over a good Purnells side that matched it point-for-point for the duration of the game.

Round 6 Points Table: Heat 18, Watters 16, Purnells 14, Crossfire 12, Job Done 11, Sass 9, Fever 8, Fury 6.
