A free documentary series will feature at Event Cinemas Glendale every second Wednesday during Council’s May Movie Month.
Council’s Manager Sustainability, Alice Howe, said there will be three, free movies as part of the entertaining and informative series.
“The documentaries explore how the environment affects our emotions, health and general wellbeing,” Dr Howe said.
“A guest speaker will introduce each film and provide insight into their knowledge and views about human relationships with the environment.
“This is a great way for Lake Macquarie residents to become informed, meet like-minded individuals, and enjoy a night out.”
Guest speakers include environmental philosopher, Dr Glenn Albrecht, lifestyle medicine educator and author, Dr Darren Morten, and Chris Tola, author of Surfing Stories and founding board member of National Surfing Reserves.
All movie events are free but RSVPs are essential, as places are limited.
