Hazard reduction burn at Martinsville

NSW Rural Fire Service will conduct a hazard reduction burn in bushland at Martinsville tomorrow (Saturday, April 14).

Motorists in the area are advised to slow down and take care if driving through smoke and to keep windows up and turn their headlights on.

Residents in the area should take the appropriate precautions including keeping doors and windows closed, removing washing from clotheslines and ensuring any pets are in a protected area.

The burn may be rescheduled if weather conditions are unfavourable.
